Meet The Artisan- Victoria

Our next instalment for Meet the Artisan is our co-founder Victoria from @featherandwild.

Vic loves spending time out in the Lake District & wandering the forests. These are the places that sing to her creative side the most. They give her the fuel to create her evoking artworks that we have the pleasure of enjoying in the shop before they find their forever homes.

The landscape inspires Victoria to put pen to paper & paint to canvas.

Sometimes a simple pen sketch is enough to evoke a memory or an emotion. But putting paint to canvas is where her heart is fully able to express the feelings she has.

Creating tactile pieces full of impasto using many layers of paint, the use of a limited selection of warm toned hues, evoke an ethereal atmosphere within her work.

We invite you to come and see Victorias’ current collection of artworks in person at @shopforthesenses
